Soup

I had a cup of Reindeer Soup tonight for dinner. It was very tasty and not gamie. It was a spicy soup with rice. I got it just to say I had Reindeer. The waitress, who was originally from Kodiak Island said if it was wild the meat would have been tougher.
BTW everyone we have met here has been so friendly. Even the taxer drivers. Our driver this AM, Deno, was from Macedonia, near Albania. He said my name pretty good....he was able to roll the "r". He also said a bad word in Greek....haha!
We also met a media person from 1.org. This organization is the one that Bono from U2 started to help vaccinate people around the world with HIV/AIDS and Hept. C. We had a chat about the federal funding cuts for this and mental health. He interviewed me and said they would post the interview on the blog! I don't have the blog website yet, but he gave me his email address and I'm going to get it.
Finally, we shared a cab home today with a girl who was from Maine but moved to Juno, AK and works with adolescents in a residential facility who have mental health and drug/alcohol problems.
